PINK CHOICE understands the gay travel market. In the early 90's, our founders gave up their professional careers to run two highly successful gay guesthouses in the USA. As a result, they came to understand the enormous value of guest feedback and travel writer reviews, but as gay travelers, they were often frustrated by the lack of such information for people like themselves when they were planning a vacation.

Numerous gay guidebooks are available, but these often contain outdated information as new businesses emerge and hotels and inns change hands. Since the advent of the internet, there are now a number of sites providing valuable travel and resort information to the straight market, but none specifically targeting the gay and lesbian market.

PINK CHOICE now provides information previously unavailable so that gay and lesbian travelers can choose the type of accommodation that meets their needs, confident in the knowledge that when they arrive at their chosen global destination there will be no surprises, and they will be made to feel welcome.

At the end of each calendar year, the accommodations in each destination, reaching a certain standard within each of four price bands, will receive the PINK CHOICE Award .
