Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo Mexico

Isla Mujeres, Mexico.
Gay and Lesbian Hotels, Inns and Guest Houses - Reviews and Ratings. Gay and Lesbian Travel.
The secluded island of Isla Mujeres is located six and a half miles northeast of Cancun. Life here is more laid back and tranquil than Cancun but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty to do, that’s if you want to. It takes only 20 minutes to reach the mainland in Cancun and the dock is only 20 minutes away from Cancun's International Airport.
Here the warm trade winds, panoramic vistas, crystalline waters and sugar-white sand beaches come together to create everything a tropical island should be.
There is a great range of accommodation on the island to meet the needs and budget of discerning gay and lesbian travelers. These range from the larger hotel complexes to the more intimate and secluded adult only spa resorts.
Known by the ancient Mayan people as the sanctuary of Ix Chel, the goddess of love, fertility and the moon, Isla Mujeres is a secluded island paradise that offers unmatched beauty and charm. One of the Caribbean’s top-ten beaches, the famous Playa Norte beach is located here, for those gay and lesbian travelers who love the sun.
As you’d expect, you decide what type of vacation you want. For the energetic gay traveler, there is plenty to choose from ranging from cycle tours, snorkeling, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, sailing and all things to do with the sea. You can even swim with the dolphins. Or, for the less energetic gay traveler, just kick back and snooze on white powder soft sand and top up that tan.
Isla Mujeres is just 50 minutes north of Cancun Airport, 20 minutes by ferry from Puerto Juarez and 30 minutes by ferry from Cancun’s hotel zone.
So, for a secluded island vacation, Isla Mujeres, Mexico has plenty to offer the discerning gay and lesbian traveler.
