Hi there, I just discovered Pink Choice, and I'm looking forward to contributing whenever I can. I live in Toronto, and can only manage one decent vacation each year, so making the right choice of where to go is very important for me. It seems that Pink Choice will provide me with some guidance when I start planning my next vacation, scheduled for September. Perhaps other members can help me. I've never been to Florida, and was considering Fort Lauderdale, but I don't drive. Is this going to pose a problem getting to restaurants and clubs? Perhaps other Pink Choice members can recommend a suitable guesthouse that is well located for someone without a car. Alternatively, would Key West be a better option for someone like me. I get the impression it might be more manageable for someone without transport. I will look forward to hearing what other forum users think. Thanks, Nathan

I've been to both Ft. Lauderdale and Key West and think that Key West is a very walking friendly town, while Ft. Lauderdale isn't really. In Ft. Lauderdale you could stay right on the ocean and probably be OK, but you'd be limited. In Key West most everything you would want to see is on or close to the main drag. Both are great places and fun to visit.

If you are a meat eater check out the steak places there. I went to Chicago quite some time ago on business and while I didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the night life, did enjoy some great meals.
