I've been going to Provincetown for years. It has a magic all of it's own which will never change, and which keeps calling me back. For those of you who have not had the good fortune to visit this quirky little town on the tip of Cape Cod, this video sums it up pretty well. I would be interested to hear any Provincetown anecdotes from other Pink Choice members. I first started visiting P'town in the early 80's.

i lived in P'town a good number of years ago for a summer (in a small studio on Bradford street), and have been back a few times to visit as I had some friends who lived there. I remember the first time I visited there from Delaware where i was going to school, and it was probably the first time in my then young life that I saw so many handsome gay men walking around holding hands in public.
The town is charming and has had the very good sense to strictly control the development, so it still looks a lot like it has for the past several decades, that wonderful small town scale with family owned businesses throughout. The place is charmed and i hope it always stays that way. I wonder if the boyz still hang out in droves in front of Spiritus or is it another pizza place now, after the bars close? I wish I had the time and money to visit for a summer as it was one of the more pleasant times of my life.

I have visited P-Town perhaps 10-12 times. I think it is the most magical, open and accepting gay place in America and I have lived in San Francisco, NYC and Chicago as well as visited Key West, West Hollywood, etc.. I started going to P-Town when I lived in NYC and feel in love with it instantly and knew I would be going back over and over again. The town is quaint and picturesque, and if you're LGBT you feel no, and I stress no, sense of being even slightly out of place. In my perfect world I would live in P-Town all summer long!
