Just wondering how long the season lasts in Saugatuck. I will be in the area sometime late October, and wondered whether the town will still be busy at that time, or whether restaurants and guesthouses are beginning to close. Can anyone advise?

I think the "season" is basically Memorial Day to Labor Day. That being said, I have been there in early fall and it's beautiful and can be very relaxing if you like that season. But, it's a bit more subdued then.
