Your best bet is to check out the Montreal section on this site:

Good luck. Montreal is a great city.

I stayed at the Omni about five years ago. Not exlusively gay but gay friendly and great location. If my memory is correct, I believe it used to be the Ritz or Four Seasons before it was bought and converted into an Omni hotel.

I see that I need to leave a review when I get a chance. edited by Barley on 6/8/2009

My partner and I stayed at the Ruta Bagage B&B last fall. A really nice place and very reasonable, conveniently located just a couple of blocks from St Catherine, close enough to get to all the nightlife within minutes, but just far enough off to be a quiet spot.

I loved the Hotel Opus, we just stayed there, it is very central to everything and close to the gay village. Great service, staff, style! We loved it!
