DNA is one of the best dining experiences I have had in the world. Nestled in the Old City of Montreal this restaurant features the two unique atmospheres.
For a bright and energetic experience check out the firey lounge. If you are seeking a more intimate evening, check out the main diningroom. Cool tones and finished are relaxing and really allow you to focus you your experience, food and dining companion. Using hanging glass panels, DNA creates defined spaces that give a nod to privacy while still making you feel apart of the entire dining room experience. This very unique setup is extremely well executed and words cannot really justify the space. The service was another high point. We were greeted with smiles and respect and promptly seated. Our server was well informed with the wine selections and made a terrific selection for our meal! In addition to the menu, DNA offered a list of specials, one was a mushroom pappardelle pasta dish and the server actually brought over a basket of wild mushrooms to show us exactly what would be in our dish. This was done in a very tasteful way and we found it to be a nice touch. The food was incredible. Some exotic selections combimed with common fare with unique executions allowed you to have an experience like no other. The next time I am in montreal I will absolutely be back to this place! I was recently reminded of this restaurant while reading an a magazine a few months ago. What other places in montreal do you recommend guys?
