Just thought I would pop in and say hello. I've used Pink Choice to plan several trips and have enjoyed watching the site grow. Thanks to the management for adding these forums - great idea!
I look forward to meeting other travelers and sharing travel tips, anecdotes, etc.

Kagan, I've just joined Pink Choice and I'm looking forward to using it whenever I travel. I posted a topic regarding the suitability of Fort Lauderdale as a destination for someone without a car. I see you have used Pink Choice to plan several trips? Do you have any first hand knowledge of Fort Lauderdale. I'm beginning to think I'll need to use a cab to get around the city. Any thoughts? Thanks, Nathan

Fort Lauderdale is a destination where having a car is certainly advantageous - unlike Provincetown, Ogonquit and such, it is a spread out area. Most of the gay geusthouses are very near the beach while the 'nightlife' is in Wilton Manors which is about a 10-12 minute drive by car - the taxi system in Fort Lauderdale is very good and a taxi ride from the resorts to the bars will run you about USD $10-12 each way. If your intent is to spend as much time at the beach with an occasional trip to the bars, a car might not be necessary. There are plenty of places for dining and shopping within a comfortable walk from the guesthouses.
